Upland park

However, it is best to start right from the top to the square, where the Parliament of Azerbaijan, the Alley of martyrs and the world-famous modern symbols of Baku Flame towers are located. You can arrive here by public transport or taxi.

National Flag Square

One of the tallest flags in the world flies at the National Flag square in Baku. The area covers an area of 60 hectares, and its upper part is 31 thousand square meters. The construction of the square cost about $ 32 million.

An ultra-modern architectural complex, which has become a new symbol of the capital of Azerbaijan. Its name speaks for itself-Flame Towers, that is, “flaming” or “flaming” towers are three giant buildings, shaped like tongues of fire.

The Flame Towers

The tallest buildings in Azerbaijan, which are visible from anywhere in Baku, in their design and, most importantly, their evening illumination really resemble a huge fire raging in the West of the city, on a high hill, illuminating everything around with its reddish glow. Every evening on the facade of the complex Flame Towers included LED-screens, constantly broadcasting the movement of fire. This stunningly spectacular spectacle, coupled with the huge size of the towers turns the buildings into three giant torches.

Seaside Park (Baku Boulevard)

Coming to Baku, you should definitely visit Primorsky Boulevard. Guests of the city will find here many attractive places: museums, attractions, parks, cafes, restaurants and more. The Boulevard itself is extremely beautiful and diverse. Its Central part impresses with a wealth of greenery and flowers, and the steps of the coastal strip end right at the sea water. In 2009 he celebrated his 100th anniversary. In terms of its importance for the country, the Primorsky Boulevard in Baku can be compared with the Red Square in Moscow or St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican. Unique objects of history, culture, architecture are literally at every step.

The carpet Museum

Carpet weaving is one of the oldest types of decorative and applied arts of Azerbaijan. The data of archaeological researches conducted on the territory of Azerbaijan show that the art of carpet weaving originated in Azerbaijan in ancient times.

The Little Venice

Is one of the beautiful corners of the seaside national Park in Baku. This construction, reminiscent of Italian Venice, with its beautiful view gives the capital of Azerbaijan a special beauty.

The Little Venice was founded on Baku Boulevard in the 60s of the 20th century and has become a favorite holiday destination for Baku residents and visitors. During the renovation works, which were carried out with the preservation of the General structure of the town, its canals were expanded, new boats were brought, additional bridges and two restaurants were built. One of the restaurants offers its customers European cuisine, and the other-Eastern. Here you can also have a good time with a Cup of tea. You will definitely appreciate this place.

Heydar Aliyev Museum Center

The construction project in 2007 was developed by the world-famous architect Zaha Hadid. There are almost no straight lines in the building and the external and internal appearance are completely in harmony with each other. According to the author, the shape of the building symbolizes the Union of people and cultures. In addition to the exhibitions listed below, the center regularly hosts various cultural events-exhibitions of paintings by famous artists and sculptors, music and educational projects.

Some additional sightseeng as Maugham center, Governor’s garden, State Philharmonic, etc.
