Bibi-Heybat Mosque

The current structure was built in 1998–1999 on the site of the original mosque, which dated back to the second half of the 13th century. The Bibi-Heybat Complex, which includes the mosque as well as the tombs and graves of notable religious figures, is considered one of the most important examples of Islamic architecture in Azerbaijan.
